Cookie and interest-based advertising
Tracking tools we use. We and our service providers collect information about users over time and across different websites and devices through the use of tracking tools, including cookies, web beacons, clear GIFs, pixels, device identifiers, and other online information collection tools (collectively, "cookies"). While the cookies we use may change from time to time, the purposes for which we use cookies remain consistent, including:
To authenticate your account and store your password if you are a registered account holder;
To monitor the performance of our Services;
To learn more about how you interact with our content;
To personalize your experience on our websites, apps, and social media services;
To optimize and customize our websites and apps;
To recommend products to us and to serve you advertising content on our Services and other places we think you will be interested in;
To measure the effectiveness of personalized advertising;
To conduct analytics and research to help us improve our Services and products; and
To better understand our website visitors and app users and their respective interests, including understanding your online activity across devices.
Interest-based advertising. We and our service providers use cookies to understand the ads you see, the ads you interact with, and other actions you take on our Services. This enables us to provide you with more useful and relevant advertising on Audrey Brooks owned and operated services and on non-affiliated services. Interest-based advertising (sometimes also called personalized advertising or targeted advertising) is shown to you based on information about your activities such as browsing or purchasing on our websites or apps, or visiting external websites or apps that feature our content or ads. In serving interest-based advertising, we follow the Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising developed by the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA), a coalition of marketing and online advertising organizations. Please see the Ads Preferences and Opt-Out section below to opt-out of this type of advertising.
Third-party ad management partners may help us display content tailored to our customers’ interests and serve interest-based advertising on our behalf. However, advertisers and other third parties (including ad networks, ad-serving companies, and other service providers they may use) may collect information about your browsing activities on our websites through cookies to display interest-based advertising. In addition, certain third parties may provide us with information about you from offline and online sources (e.g., websites where you were shown ads or demographic information), which we may use to provide you with more relevant and useful advertising.
Advertisers, or advertising companies acting on their behalf, sometimes use technology to deliver ads from our Sites directly to your browser. When this happens, they automatically obtain your IP address. They may also use cookies to measure and personalize advertising. The information practices of these advertisers and third-party sites are not governed by our Privacy Policy. Please contact them directly for more information about their privacy practices.
Advertising Preferences and Opt-Out
Cookies: The “Help” feature on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, and how to disable cookies altogether. If you set your browser to restrict or delete cookies, or otherwise block our use of cookies, some Site features may not be available or function properly. Your device may not have the functionality to control cookies. If you wish to block cookies on our apps, you will need to delete the app from your mobile device.
Email Marketing Opt-Out: If you wish to opt-out of any marketing emails, you may contact our customer service representatives ( Support@AudreyBrooks.shop ) at the phone number or email address in the “Questions” section below. You may also follow the opt-out instructions included in our promotional emails. Please note that deleting user information from our database or "opting out" does not stop us from generating marketing or advertising content for distribution or queued for transmission to you before we implement your request. Upon receipt of your request, we will take reasonable steps to remove your information from our records of activity. If you unsubscribe from marketing communications, you will continue to receive transactional information, such as email or text message notifications about your order status, recall information, and other administrative information. Your information will remain in our database but will be marked as inactive so you will not receive marketing materials from us.
Interest-Based Advertising Opt-Out: You can opt-out of targeted advertising from us and certain providers by visiting the DAA Consumer Opt-Out Page (https://www.aboutads.info/choices). Additionally, you can opt-out of receiving personalized ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) by visiting the NAI Consumer Opt-Out Page (http://optout.networkadvertising.org/?c=1#!/). Opting out does not mean you will no longer receive ads from us, it just means that those ads will no longer be targeted based on your data collected from us on our online services.
App Opt-out: You can opt-out of certain interest-based ads in apps using the DAA’s AppChoices program (see: https://youradchoices.com/appchoices). You can also opt-out of interest-based ads in apps by selecting the system-level ad preferences feature on your device. On Apple iOS devices, the system-level ad preferences can be accessed through Settings - Privacy - Ads - Limit Ad Tracking. On Android devices, open the Google Settings app from the app drawer or the operating system’s settings menu, tap Ads, and select Opt-out of interest-based ads.
Facebook Opt-out: Facebook may allow you to opt-out of certain advertising practices. See https://www.facebook.com/help/1075880512458213/?helpref=hc_fnav. However, we cannot control Facebook’s actions or disclosures. To opt-out of data collection by other social media services, you should review the privacy practices of that provider.
Mobile Location Settings: If you access our Services through a mobile device, we may also be able to identify the location of your mobile device. You can opt out of sharing your location information with us by adjusting the location services settings on your mobile device. For instructions on changing the relevant settings, please contact your service provider or device manufacturer.
Do Not Track: Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature that allows you to tell websites that you do not want your online activities to be tracked. Our online services do not honor the "Do Not Track" preferences that may exist in your browser and these preferences may not honor the preferences you set.
Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. However, no information system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. In addition, please be aware that we cannot control the channels through which you communicate with us and cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted.

We will retain your data for as long as we believe there is a business, legal or security reason to do so, even if you are no longer an active customer.
How to Update Information
You may correct or update the information we have collected about you through our Services by contacting us at the email address provided at the end of this Privacy Policy or by editing your information and preferences on the "Your Account" and "Profile and Password" pages. Audrey Brooks does not “sell” any consumer personal information as defined by the CCPA.
We use a variety of procedures to verify that you have the authority to make the requests described above. You may designate an authorized agent to make these requests on your behalf, but we will need to verify the agent’s authority based on our reasonable procedures.
We may deny certain requests, or only partially comply with requests, based on our legal rights and obligations. For example, we may retain personal information as permitted by law, such as for tax or other recordkeeping purposes, and to process transactions and assist with customer requests. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of the rights listed above, but we will not be able to provide you with certain services without such information.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify our privacy practices and to update and change this Privacy Policy at any time without notice to you. If we make any changes, we will change the “Last Updated Date” above and post the new Privacy Policy. You should review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
